Makita DUH751Z 18v LXT 750mm/29.5" Brushless Hedge Trimmer Body Only
The cordless Makita DUH750 is a Brushless hedge trimmer which is powered by a single 18 volt LXT battery. It has a 75cm (750mm) blade length and a maximum cutting diameter of 23.5mm. The three-speed selection switch gives you ultimate control for a variety of hedges.
New triple-edged cutting teeth are designed to easily catch and firmly hold branches. Curved blades reduce friction resistance to suppress energy loss. Due to the low resistance run time is increased.

I love a lot about this tool and its performance but I've had it 13 months and the cutter bar is rusting badly. Makita! get your act together.

At the moment I can't fault the tool. Purchased this as the majority of my other tools are Makita. It is quiet, with battery on well balanced and easy to use. The safety is A1 and a fully charge 5ah battery didn't quite manage my whole hedge top and sides (Last cut two years ago). Now cut the battery would easily last the whole hedge. Went for longer blade to give max reach with out having to use ladders. Would recommend.

Great trimer had previous model 36 volt which was great but this last just as long and on one battery which also makes it alot lighter has alot better blade speed and very sharp blades also has brushless motor only gripe is if you leave it for abit you have to press button to turn it back on but I tend to get long hedges so tend to put down more but all in all wonderful

Super sharp cutting, gets through decent sized branches. I was initially concerned it only uses one battery but that’s not an issue as it seems to be light on battery - even a 3Ah one. Not too heavy or unwieldy either given the 750mm blade. A pleasure to use.
