The Makita LXT DUH523 is a useful cordless hedge cutter packed with great features. It has a unique anti-vibration system with 5 dampers to greatly reduce the amount of vibration to the operator which eases the hedge cutting process. It has the ability to change blade without dissembling the housing. Powered by a single Makita 18v lithium-ion battery.

“Powerful professional kit. Makes light work of thicker stems that most other trimmers can't handle. Well balanced in use and safety switch combination ensures it can't run unless held with two hands. Takes a few minutes to get used to safety switch combination but it's not difficult. Battery life - seems to go on for hours with intermittent use. Very happy I chose the Makita.”

“Probably as good a cordless hedge trimmer as is currently available. As an existing Makita user - drill, screwdriver, saws, etc - I expect this hedgetrimmer to easily cope with my domestic needs.”
