Excellent piece of kit, so easy to assemble and even easier to use. So,so user friendly and so much lighter than my old petrol mower.

This is my first Battery powered lawnmower, build quality what you would expect from Makita, batteries lasted for two cuts of my front and back lawn and one battery was also used in a newly purchased Makita Strimmer, worked well and batteries charged quickly in the dual battery charger. Lawnmower easy to assemble. nice safety key switch, easy adjustable cut from approx. 20mm, not as powerful as my petrol mower but good enough for my needs, light weight and cut my lawns in half the normal time. The special offer of 2 x 5.0ah free batteries direct from Makita was icing on the cake. Power Tool World excellent too, ordered Friday arrived Saturday, box all sealed and as new

It's advertised as good for up to 650m Square garden. Mine is less than half that and there is no chance of getting round on a single charge unless it's bone dry and you're giving the garden a very light trim. On a damp lawn, with grass that was not exactly long I was getting as little as 10 mins useful battery time. It doesn't feel super powerful at the best of times. Best used frequently (weekly at least) in v. dry conditions and it just about does the job. But feel as though it's capabilities are exaggerated somewhat.

Hi Adam, Thank you for taking the time to leave your review, we value all customer feedback. We're surprised to hear that you're unhappy with the performance of the DLM432CT2. We usually receive positive reviews for this model with is currently rated 4.45 out of 5* based upon 22 reviews. Due to this, it would lead us to believe there is either a fault present, or the cutting area, or working dimensions are overloading the batteries. As we're sure you can appreicate, battery run time and performance are impacted by the load they're put under and the enviroment they're used in i.e. wet or high grass, large cutting areas etc. We can see that you have requested to return the item to us. We would love to complete our own inspection and tests. A member of our customer support team will be in contact shortly to facilitate the product return. Kind regards - PTW
