Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? A refund would go a long way.
Food was very poor, I had fish and chips, full of grease, I ate a small amount and was Ill with tummy upset. Room while large was not what I would class as inviting. The place is tired, grubby chairs in the lounge. Swim pool and sauna been closed for past two years, they should be taken off their advertising, I was really looking forward to using those facilities, a huge disappointment all round, stayed one night, was booked in for four nights. A huge loss to my pocket. Staff were pleasant enough.

The Dryburgh Abbey Hotel is situated adjacent to the ruins of the Abbey built by monks in the twelfth century with views over the fast flowing river Tweed. Plenty dog walking opportunities in the area and the hotel food and accommodation are very good. Staff are very welcoming to dogs.

The whole reason we booked was to take our dogs with us, and for that I could not fault the hotel. Dogs are allowed almost everywhere, can be left in the room if you so wished, and are fussed over by the staff. The hotel and rooms are in need of a little TLC and updating, but the beds were comfortable and the grounds are lovely. We stayed as a family of two adults and two children, but had to book two separate rooms as they didn’t have a family room. This made things a bit more difficult which was a shame.

We didn't get to go. This email asking how our stay was is automated and impersonal.

Lovely hotel in lovely location. Nice to be able to take our dog with us. Dogs allowed in lounge but not restaurant although we left our dog in hotel bedroom whist we dined which was fine. Plenty of lovely walks of varying length and abilities nearby. Lots of squirrels in hotel grounds to keep dogs amused. Food was excellent and hotel really clean. Will definitely return as had a lovely stay.

Poppy had a great time, with long walks and enjoyed being spoilt by staff and other residents
