“Wonderful stay and excellent attention to detail. Amanda was brilliant attended to all our needs. Doggies were extremely happy with their breakfast consisting of black pudding and sausages!! Highly recommend and would come back again. Very central to lots of activities,including Corfe Castle, Bournemouth beach, Langston Lacy NT and we also did a day trip to the Isle of Wight from Lymington. We will be back!”

“Nice hotel, room was very small but clean Good food but expensive as was drinks from the bar Some staff not very friendly & mixed messages about where dogs could be with owners”

“My husband, myself and our dog stayed for two nights in a double room. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was spotless and well equipped, including a dog bowl and doggie treats on arrival. All the staff were friendly and engaging with a clear love and appreciation of four legged friends. Location was great for dog walking. Our room was a little on the small size so we'd probably go for a family room if returning. Breakfast and dinner were of a high standard, including sausages for the dog at breakfast which were very well received! Would recommend.”

“We had a really lovely time at the Avon Causeway. It is a convenient location, on the edge of Bournemouth, so we were able to explore the area and even visit our student daughter at AUB (Arts Uni Bournemouth) when her social commitments permitted. Our (rather large) dog was made very welcome. He did take up a fair bit of space in our room but he loved the sausages and blackpudding provided for him at breakfast and, when we came to leave, he had to be picked up (all 45 kilos of him) and carried to the car because he simply refused to budge. I should add that the human food was good too.”

“Amanda and her team went out of their way to make us and our dog Brian very welcome last week. The weather was awful but the warm welcome and good food and drink made for a nice restful week. Very dog friendly and Brian approved of his breakfast everyday! ❤️❤️”

“All staff were very welcoming towards Bella our Cockapoo, Best part of the stay was the Sausage and Black Pudding for her breakfast. Our breakfast and evening meal were excellent, the pub and accommodation well geared up for dogs and their owners.”

“A great 2 night stay, good location for walks in New Forest and coast, lots of interesting places to visit. Very dog friendly staff, good breakfast menu set you up for the day, Archie (dog) enjoyed his treat too. Will be returning in the future for another stay, Thank you for a lovely weekend.”
