“Extremely dog friendly hotel - dogs even get their own cooked breakfast! Human breakfasts excellent, the Vegan one, especially good. Evening good and reasonably priced. Quirky for adults, with a Pullman carriage and waiting room (it was a station until 1935). Huge car park. Rooms comfortable, really nice toiletries, coffee and teas, and real fresh milk. EV charging would make it perfect! Would stay there again”

“From the minute we arrived, the service and attention to detail was faultless. Super friendly, well presented, rooms are of a high standard, great food and for the team, WOW, their focus was 100% about you and your dog having an enjoyable stay. Lots to do locally with dog friendly beaches just a few miles away. This was our first visit but won't be our last.”

“We booked this hotel as we wanted somewhere dog-friendly, but in the event we didn't bring our dog with us. We loved the quirkiness of the hotel. The service was good, as was the food. The dogs we saw there with other guests seemed to be made very welcome. Had we had our dog with us, I think we would have found our room a little cramped.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Not cheap for basic and tired facilities.

“By very noisy main road, adjacent woods full of rubbish so not ideal for walking the dog. Friendly staff. Food ok. Tired mattress, lumpy pillows, but good size room. All in all not a place to entice me back.”

“We just had a great stay here over the bank holiday weekend with our 2 dogs and they were treated like part of the family. Aside from how great this place is with dogs, it’s also spotless, food is great and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely be back!”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Avon Causeway. There was a good choice on the breakfast menu and we dined at the restaurant both nights. Having our dog with us was a huge bonus. The staff were friendly and the dog breakfast was a treat he loved. The location of the hotel was convenient for all local attractions. We visited Mudeford Quay, The New Forest, Lymington and Bournemouth. I would have given it 5* if the room was bigger. There's not enough storage space and just enough space to walk around the bed, our dog's bed had to be right up against the door and finally the bed was not comfortable, so wouldn't want to stay more than two nights. The room was super clean and the toiletries are good quality.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? I would definitely recommend this hotel and would most definitely like to go back. Even the dogs were spoilt with their own breakfast in the mornings. Thank you to all for a most welcoming time.

“Such a lovely stay, rooms were spotless, comfortable bed good nights sleep. Extra items such as toiletries, bottled water, tea making etc and the most delicious homemade biscuits All the staff here were so friendly and helpful.”
