“The second we walked in, the staff were friendly and welcoming, they fussed our doggies (any dog parent appreciated being told how cute their furbabies are!), the hotel prepared two doggie beds in our room and it was on the ground floor, so we did not have to use scary lift! We had room with partial view, which was still awesome and we spent evenings on terrace watching lake life and drinking wine. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, baked goods, hot breakfast food, fruit, cereals, anything you could think of, all was there. We will be definitely coming back!”

“The hotel was only expecting one dog instead of two, as had been booked. The dog bed & bowl provided were very cute, although a little small for our dog(s). The dinner booking didn't take into account dogs & we were put at a high table, in a thoroughfare, so one of our dogs, in particular, was disturbed every time someone came in & out of the restaurant. We were unable to comfort him, as we couldn't reach him. Eventually, we were moved to a table in a corner, but it was very stressful & we couldn't relax. The staff didn't seem particularly comfortable around dogs either. We couldn't take the dogs in for breakfast, so ended up having to put them in the car instead whilst we ate. Breakfast was hurried because of this. There was a lot of noise throughout the night, again disturbing us & the dogs. On the plus side, the warm dog showers outside were a lovely touch & the long walks on the doorstep were perfect!”

“We couldn't have felt more welcome with our dogs. They were looked after by the reception staff while we went for a swim. They were welcome in the dining areas and greeted enthusiastically wherever we went. We will be coming back as soon as our schedules allow.”

“This hotel did not disappoint. Very dog friendly, the reception staff made a fuss of our girls on arrival & they were presented with a wrapped up treat of their own. Dog bowls in abundance in the public areas. The room we had had a wonderful view of the lake, on ground floor with easy access to let the girls outside, 2 comfy dog beds, dog bowls & dog towels. We are supper in the old boat house, menu a little limited but the service was friendly & efficient plus the food that we choose was very good. The highlight was definitely the location - a choice of many dog friendly walks of all different durations. The service from PetPyjamas was first class, thank you.”

“Great location for walking dogs. From 30 mins to full on 8mile walk. Hotel was very dog welcoming. Dogs allowed in bar/lounge areas in hotel and restaurant. Another bar, pizza restaurant, cafes on site too. Lots of dogs so you don't feel awkward about yours.”
