Lovely hotel on beautiful grounds. Ideal for those who enjoy walking. I was pleasantly surprised by my room especially as this was a dog friendly room. Room was light airy and clean. Beautiful grounds for exploring. My dog loved this! Great amenities on the grounds including a hideaway bar and pizza place which served delicious food. Great vibe at the bar/pizza area. Breakfast at the hotel was lovely, nice relaxed atmosphere. I couldn’t fault my stay and will definitely return again.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Staff were friendly but hotel rooms need upgrading
Had a 2 night stop over at the De Vere Cotswold Water Park hotel with our pooch, although we had a ground floor room with doors onto a decking area it was quite a way from the hotel reception & restaurant. Room was quite basic & the bathroom needed upgrading. The view was lovely overlooking the water but dogs aren’t allowed on the decking which kinda negates being able to sit & relax to take in the view. Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant either but could be with you in the bar area & I had to fetch all our breakfast items to the bar area for us to have food with our dog. The Boat House wasn’t value for money & quite a limited menu, if you have a dog you are in a little area tucked away in a corner near the toilets far away from any of the water views which made us feel like 2nd class citizens just because we have a little pooch in toe. That said the staff are friendly & tentative towards our dog.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? If they have multiple rooms of dog owners that can only eat in the bar area then why do they not set up tables ready for their use, we are paying the same if not more than the other guests.
The rooms and site are very well set up for dogs with places for washing down and pooh bins. A welcome bed for the dog with water bowl. You can eat with your dog in the bar area which is nice in the evening. You are not allowed to leave your dog unattended in the room so have to take them in for breakfast, you have to sit in the bar and get what you want to eat from the restaurant. None of the tables are set up for breakfast in the bar, we had to get our own cups knives and forks and toast condiments ourselves for the table as the bar staff were busy with room service. Our room overlooked the lake and had a decking that was accessible to all people on the ground floor, every time somebody walked past our window during the night and early morning it set our dog into defensive mode barking.

Very dog friendly, wouldn't hesitate to recommend and our dogs thoroughly enjoyed their Coribobs. Some nice walks on the doorstep and plenty of dog wash points for the mucky paws. Nice touch of dog beds, water bowl and towel in the room which was spotless. There was an area we could have the delicious breakfast with our dogs which worked really well. In the evening we dined at the Boathouse next door, we thankfully pre-booked and mentioned the dogs would be with us and they gave a perfect table tucked to the side.

Perfect location for walking with the dog. Hotel very dog friendly, rooms have lovely view looking over the lake, we enjoyed our meal at the boathouse and relaxing drinks at the lounge bar. Would recommend a visit, we will be going again.

We were really impressed with De Vere Cotswold Water Park. Beautifully kept hotel, friendly welcoming staff, great breakfast, fantastic room with great lakeside views and patio doors opening out onto the lake. I couldn't fault anything at all. All the staff were chatty and friendly, cleaners, reception, restaurant staff. Sometimes large hotels like this are shabby and worn, not this one. Decor all up together, nothing looked tired. Beautifully decorated. We will definitely be staying here again. Super dog friendly, we had a big dog and a little one and both were welcome. A great find.
