Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Will most likely book again for Christmas 2023.
We had a 3 night break at The Charlecote Pheasant Hotel from Christmas Eve Saturday to Boxing Day Monday with our 2 Border Collies on a Bed, Breakfast, 3 Course Dinner & Full Christmas Lunch package, booked through Pets Pyjamas at an excellent all in price with no cost for the dogs. Lovely welcome at Reception with help finding a disabled parking space. Room a good size on ground level with en-suite bathroom and windows looking out onto a rear garden area. Bed comfortable and plentiful drink making facilities. Nice touch of a wrapped Xmas Present containing Mince Pies/sweets/chocolates/hot drink sachets & Xmas Card. Treats for dogs at the pit-stop in Reception. Separate secure field for exercising the dogs adjacent to our hotel room. The food at ALL the meals was excellent and dogs were allowed to be with you. Good range of drinks & friendly & helpful service at all times. The staff here were excellent and cannot be praised enough for making our stay so enjoyable & memorable. Thoroughly recommend this venue to one & all. Will book again next year.

sad to say we are very disappointed with this hotel - very run down - staff friendly but didn't really have any idea of how to resolve queries. Food was absolutely disgusting, processed, hard, stale and burnt, we paid £17.95 each for a roast that neither of us could eat, breakfast had been left for hours, stale, greasy, cold and overcooked. We didn't eat this and ended up paying out the next day. Wine served hot because they didn't have working fridges, no ice the machine wasn't working in the heat !! warm beer. No dog bed or bowls in the room. The hotel was clean but very tired and run down. Over-priced total rip-off.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the food and drink wasn’t up to your expectations at The Charlecote As this is not typical of their hotel, we would like the opportunity to speak with you more about what happened in order to better understand the situation. Please reach out so we can arrange a time for us to chat further. I hope we can make things right and this won’t deter you from booking with us again in the future! Very Best Wishes, Trish from PetsPyjamas 🐾

Me and my partner had a great stay in this lovely hotel. We took our 22 week old puppy Marley who was made to feel like royalty. He didn’t want to leave! Staff couldn’t do enough to make us all feel welcome. The room was clean and had everything we needed. We had evening meal in the hotel and the food was superb! Bed was super comfy. I just wish we were able to stay longer but we will return in the future. Also would like to thank the lovely lady on reception who was extremely helpful with local information and made a big fuss of Marley which he loved. Thanks for having us and see you again soon!

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? There was a wedding reception on the Saturday night which went on 2 hours beyond our normal bedtime. Sadly the music kept me awake and combined with the changing of the clocks, left me really tired the next morning. Explained this to the staff (didn't c
We chose this venue for its dog friendly rating and we were not disappointed. The reception area had free treats and water along with bowls/blankets to loan if needed. At first we felt there was nowhere to let the dogs off but were told by another customer of a large field to the side of the hotel which we could use - fantastic!! It's not fully enclosed so your dogs do need to have some recall!! Us humans enjoyed it too, our room was small but perfectly equipped (Room 17) - it was rather hot, we had to turn off the radiators and open the windows! Food was fab, a bit limited for vegetarians so we did eat out locally as well. The staff were the real asset to this place, very friendly and accommodating - top notch! Would definitely use again if over in Warwickshire

This was our first trip away with our puppy Bertie so we didn’t quite know what to expect. It was great that he could come to the restaurant with us whilst we ate and had grounds to wander around with him on. The room itself whilst on the surface looked very luxurious was actually quite tired looking. Needed a touch up of paint and the bathroom could definitely do with a re-vamp. The dinner menu was very limited. As a vegetarian there was only 1 thing to pick and it was very bland. Definitely would go into Stratford-Upon-Avon for dinner instead. Overall though it was good for the price and being a minutes walk from the National Trust was great.

Staff were very welcoming to us and our dog. Biscuits, water bowls, towels and beds all offered to our dog on arrival, and we were told to help ourselves to breakfast items from the morning buffet for him too! Bedroom was lovely and spacious with coffee machine, kettle and mini fridge. Evening meal was excellent, couldn’t fault a thing. Breakfast items were good quality, and you could help yourself, however on our morning there, some of the items could have been a little hotter. Overall excellent stay and would go back again

Lillie and ourselves thoroughly enjoyed our stay. She was made very welcome as were we. It was very relaxing, staff were helpful and no pressures. We think that the policy adopted (due to Covid) at the moment of only cleaning the rooms on request is much better and means you don't have to stay out of the rooms, until they're finished. The garden was lovely to walk around, and Lillie loved the field to run in. Lillie particularly loved her breakfast sausage. Oh and by the way the room was clean and comfortable. Many thanks.
