Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? This is a old-fashioned country hotel/inn. Some aspects are a little tired but some very modern like the walk-in shower room.
The staff at the White Hart Royal are the hotel's greatest asset. All were efficient, welcoming and friendly. There were both a bar area and a lounge area where we could sit with Benson, our dog. Our room had an entrance that was separate from the main entrance to the hotel which was entered using a special door code. As advertised, food and water bowls, a toy and some treats were waiting in the room. Although there was a breakfast menu, each breakfast was personalised and presented well even when the dining room was very busy.

What a lively hotel. Room was lovely and comfortable. Snug bar had good drinks and the food was fabulous. All the staff were very friendly and made us and Stanley (the dog) feel at home.

We’ve just come back from a stay with our Labrador at the White Hart. The staff were all very friendly and spoilt Belly. The room was a good size and the treat bag was very generous.

Booked through PetsPyjamas for 2 nights and 1 dinner. Given a disability 'accessible' room on the ground floor with large wet room. Had a doggy welcome bag waiting for us with treats and poo bags. Staff extremely nice and accommodating to our needs.

We had a lovely break at The White Hart Royal Hotel, all the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. We were upgraded to a larger room which was beautiful. The food was lovely, service was great and overall a very enjoyable stay. Mollie our dog was happy with the selection of treats left in the room for her and she came to the bar with us when we ate. Nothing was too much trouble and we were very well looked after. Thanks for a lovely stay, we will return.

It was our first stay in a hotel with our rescue dog and it couldn't have gone any better. We had a large deluxe room with our own secure, private patio area. Dog treats, poo bags and bowls provided, and the breakfast staff offered our dog a sausage every morning (although he politely declined as he is watching his weight.) Dining with your dog means eating both breakfast and evening meals in the snug bar rather than the main restaurant but it was a lovely cosy bar and it wasn't just people with dogs eating there so it wasn't as if we were completely segregated! We would stay here again.

We had a lovely stay this week - 3 nights. Our room was lovely although very dark. The ensuite was huge with a deep bath and lovely toiletries. However, the shower pressure was pretty pathetic! The welcome and food in the hotel were fantastic. As we had Hector with us, we found it rather restrictive that we could only use the snug in the main part of the hotel as the outside courtyard is not being used in the depths of winter. Lovely open fires and very cosy atmosphere.
