We had a 6-day stay at the White Hart Royal. The accommodation, food and service were top-class and we and our dog were made very welcome.

The hotel made me and my dog welcome, with our first floor room complete with large dog blanket on the bed (so didn't have to worry about dirty paws!), mat and two dog bowls plus a doggy goody bag and a great Nespresso machine for me (coffee only drinker)! As this is a really old hotel, the rooms showed signs of age, to be expected, but the floors were very noisy which made Holly think that someone was trying to get into our room! All the staff were very welcoming and even bought Holly a sausage for breakfast on our first morning! My only slight niggle was that we had to have our meals in the bar. This was fine for dinner as there were always lots of other people around in the evenings but we were the only people in the bar most mornings, which meant that the staff were often 'absent' because they were serving in the main restaurant. I do think the hotel (which has more than one room as its restaurant) could have set aside a small part for owners and their dogs for meals. Poor weather didn't stop us getting out and about and there's plenty to do in and around Moreton itself as well as neighbouring towns, e.g. Bourton on the Water and Stow on the Wold. Overall, a good stay.

Don’t hesitate! The hotel is fabulous the staff are charming and helpful and it is incredibly difficult friendly. Room 305 is dog owners heaven, private courtyard and a blissful bed. The food is absolutely delicious, clearly a very good chef and top quality suppliers. The area is so beautiful and there is so much to see and do, I would massively recommend The White Hart Royal and very much hope I will visit again in the future.

We stayed for three nights in the 4 poster / patio room with our cocker spaniel. We were happy with the friendly staff and facilities. The deluxe double room with patio was ideal for us all.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? This is a old-fashioned country hotel/inn. Some aspects are a little tired but some very modern like the walk-in shower room.
The staff at the White Hart Royal are the hotel's greatest asset. All were efficient, welcoming and friendly. There were both a bar area and a lounge area where we could sit with Benson, our dog. Our room had an entrance that was separate from the main entrance to the hotel which was entered using a special door code. As advertised, food and water bowls, a toy and some treats were waiting in the room. Although there was a breakfast menu, each breakfast was personalised and presented well even when the dining room was very busy.

What a lively hotel. Room was lovely and comfortable. Snug bar had good drinks and the food was fabulous. All the staff were very friendly and made us and Stanley (the dog) feel at home.

We’ve just come back from a stay with our Labrador at the White Hart. The staff were all very friendly and spoilt Belly. The room was a good size and the treat bag was very generous.
