Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Clarify that cream tea on arrival is a plain scone and cup of tea.

“The hotel was a fascinating old building with lots of history. Our room was nice and clean and on the ground floor with street access which was great for our dog. The food, both breakfast and dinner was excellent. Our only dislike was that we were told there would be a cream tea on arrival. Because of this we skipped lunch and booked our inclusive dinner for the second night as we thought we would be “full”. We were therefore disappointed when the cream tea was only a cup of tea and plain scones. Maybe it’s me but every time previously I’ve had a cream tea it includes sandwiches, cakes and scones and is really filling. It is a great place as a base for visiting all the beautiful Cotswold towns.”

“What a wonderful hotel. The staff couldn’t do enough , the room was gorgeous and the restaurant food amazing. Thank you for making my husband and I and our dog Louis feel so spoilt and welcome.”

“We spent 3 lovely days at the White Hart. All the staff were.very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were superb and evening meal was good. Our dog was made very welcome and he enjoyed the little garden. We will probably go back again.”

“The hotel is lovely with lots of history and character. We had a room with a small courtyard. Which was spacious and really handy with our dog The only negative and it’s a big negative was the bed was really uncomfortable, the mattress didn’t seem to fit the four poster properly, resulting in two restless nights I did leave feedback at the desk during checkout and the lady seem to already know this and mentioned it could be pushed into place.”

“Stayed for three nights in this lovely hotel. Our Cockapoo was treated with treats on arrival in the room and loved all the attention she had. All the staff were really friendly and we are definitely going to stay again in this hotel. We can’t fault it.!!”

“We picked this hotel as around midway from where we live to Cornwall,was a lovley place to stay,Room was beautiful ,comfy bed ,plenty space for our two goldens ,treats and a toy were nice surprise.The staff were very welcoming and very helpful.food was very tasty and the dogs enjoyed some sausage at breakfast.A wonderful short stay to break our journey.”

“We stayed three nights at the White Hart Royal with our boy. We had a lovely room with a four poster bed and private courtyard with seating. There were plenty of special touches that impressed us, like an nespresso machine which had the capsules topped up every day, a supply of biscuits and chocolate, as well as a doggie bag with treats and a toy for the boy. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and it felt like a happy place to be. The breakfasts were amazing and nothing seemed like too much trouble for any of the staff we dealt with. Very enjoyable stay!!”

“I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. We stayed for 3 nights with our large dog and friends with their two dogs. The hotel itself is beautiful. The manager and staff are fabulous and cannot do enough for you. Dogs are more than welcome and treats and toys were placed in the room on arrival. The rooms are spacious and spotless. Hotel food was fantastic and we ended up spending every evening in there. The area is great for dog walking. There is a country walk to the arboretum where you can have lunch/snacks and visit the garden centre. Would definitely go back.”
