“A great stay at this dog friendly inn. A stone’s throw from a dog friendly beach, my two had a whale of a time running in the surf. They also loved the treat bag and their morning sausage, Not cheap but well worth the money, breakfast was lovely on both days that we stayed and was lovely and hot. Shame the weather wasn’t better but nothing they could have done about that.”

“Stunning situation for a hotel…We managed three dog walks on the dog zone parts of the beach in a one night stay! Hotel was welcoming and dog friendly and a good sized room, sea facing views. Food was ok - local beer was great!”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Would not recommend or stay again.

“Sadly, the description on the website did not transpire into reality. Pooch bed and breakfast sausage did not materialise. Room looked clean, but think layer of dust around the skirting. Overall, the place was grubby, with the hotel door looking more like a service area. I can report though that the food was good and restaurant staff friendly. Was not asked for feedback on our stay, or a thank you for staying.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? We will plan to go again soon . We were unlucky with the weather but hopefully it will be better next time.

“We were delighted with The Ship Inn . It has easy access to a lovely beach . Our room was very nice and clean, the room over looked the sea and was spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. We had dogs with us who were made welcome . Food is good and an excellent breakfast.”

“Amazing breakfast, freshly cooked. We were in room 2 with nice bathroom and sea views although if the garden had people in would need to close the blinds. Clean and tidy. Had a good evening meal there too. Only down sides, no hooks or shelves in bathroom and no drawers in bedroom. Disappointing booking through pets pyjamas as nothing supplied for our dog, not even treats. Staff no dog friendly either. Not their usual standard.”
