“The hotel was nice although a little bit tired inside. The room was nice and big (enough room for two dogs) with a large bathroom. The bed was very comfy and the room and bathroom were very clean. The staff were friendly. It was our first time in Harrogate and we really liked it and will be back. (they do charge £10 for overnight parking which we didn't expect)”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Pooh bin about 200 yards from the hotel would have been good to have on the grounds

“We went to the Old Swan for our birthdays they were really welcoming and nothing was too much trouble Faye our Labrador was also made to feel special,she loved being with us in a huge bedroom right in the centre of Harrogate ,we were essentially looked after by Molly in the bar who was very attentive and went out of her way to help thank you”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? If we had been quoted £120 at outset we may have booked elsewhere

“We were asked to pay an extra £10 on arrival as were told only 1 dog is included free We also got charged £10 for car parking So all good apart from unexpected charges.”

“We did a 4 night stay with the dog, they gave us a ground floor room with a fire exit door to outside which was handy. A placemat and bowl in the room. We had the executive suite expecting a bit more space but to be honest it wasn't much bigger than basic doubles we've stayed in. Tea/Coffee tray was the usual but our kettle had a fault and it took 2 reminders before they actually changed it. No fridge in the room which was disappointing as we did need somewhere to store the dogs food. Should have checked beforehand. Not sure why hotels can't provide small fridges so you can buy and keep proper milk and water in there. We had an evening meal in the bar area due to the dog. Menu had variety and food ok. Nice bar lounge, good selection of drink although a little pricey. Breakfast selection good and it was very nice other than on our last day for some reason. Scrambled egg tasted strange and pastries were not cooked enough. Hotel refunded us the 2 meals. Staff were very nice and one young lady in particular stood out for us, Megan, very good and couldn't do enough for us including organising a Cream Tea at short notice for my Partners Birthday. Constructive Feedback Bathroom needs an extractor fan that's why there's mould spores in there and radiator had a very corroded pipe which needs attention before it causes a bigger issue. Decor could do with updating and fridges could be supplied as an option for those staying more than a couple of nights.”
