“Very well thought out stay for guests with Dogs. Guests with dogs are able to eat in the Bistro restaurant and use the Bistro or Main Restaurant menu with full service. Beautiful grounds to walk in. Bedroom and bathroom very spacious, clean and decorated to a good standard. Meal menu is limited but adequate. Dogs are made to feel very welcome by staff and even receive a bowl of sausage and water.”

“Or dog, Max was made to feel very welcome throughout our two-day stay. We were upgraded to a large, comfortable room in the main hotel. Overall, the food was decent although a bit limited in choice, particularly the desserts. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Thanks for looking after us so well.”

“We booked Bagden Hall as we needed to visit Leeds for a family event and wanted to take the pup. The hotel was approx half an hour drive to the south of Leeds in lovely countryside. Excellent directions on the hotel website from the M1. The hotel was set in spacious surroundings, woods, gardens and overall 40 acres of grounds.Our Cocker spaniel Gabriel was in heaven with the walks. The hotel staff were very friendly and made a big fuss of the pup with lots of cuddles, treats and a sausage for breakfast on the last day. For the humans we have a lovely meal in the restaurant and then in the bistro. The bedroom was big and spacious. The hotel was very warm and clean with soft towels, which makes a change in a hotel. Even a bottle of fizz in the room thanks to the special deal booked through pets pyjamas. The weather was sadly really poor so the dog paw washing tap came in really handy!. Locally we had the opportunity to visit the national coal mining museum (free) with the pup who was able to visit the outside exhibits with us. The staff at the hotel also recommended a really nice dog friendly pub near by ( the Forresters). In our opinion this hotel is definitely worth a visit and we would stay again.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? We were upgraded to a suite

“Archie the cocker spaniel was welcome in all the rooms, except the main restaurant. However he had breakfast (doggie sausage) with us & we could have had evening meal together. The grounds are extensive, doggie friendly with poo bins handy. There are footpaths leading out for longer walks, so no need to use the car.”

“Lovely hotel, dogs are allowed in any part of the grounds with lots of places for them to explore. Hotel room was a good size, we stayed in the main hotel. The bathroom could do with some TLC. Staff were very helpful & friendly going out of their way to get an extra fan for our room as the weather was exceptionally warm. Food was very good, you can’t sit in the main restaurant with your dogs but their is another area for you to sit, we were served very quickly. Would highly recommend.”

“It was a lovely hotel with beautiful gardens, our room was big and nice and the staff were friendly. The food was good, so we had dinner second day at the hotel again. We were chatting with a couple with two border collies who also found this place through PetsPyjams at the dinner table with our dogs. We agreed on how lovely the hotel was and how good to find the place with PetsPyjamas. Thank you.”
