We returned here this year after visiting last year in August, this was my self, my partner and our dog Ludovico. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay again, we didn't want to come home. The Hotel is set in the most beautiful surroundings and as we went mid-week it was so peaceful and restful, just what we needed to escape our busy lives. The breakfast was excellent, as was the evening meal in the restaurant. We would definitely go back again !!

Visited Bagden Hall as a halfway stopover on our journey to north east. Glorious surroundings and a warm welcome. Slight confusion on whether we had paid in advance (we had) which then had to be addressed again on check out. This did not spoil our stay but was a frustration that it was not addressed when first identified. Both our dogs thoroughly enjoyed themselves, especially breakfast, as did their human "guests" (because our dogs seemed completely at home with the hotel, grounds and room). The food was very good, especially the breakfast. The hotel grounds are lovely; unfortunately, we did not have time to explore fully, but maybe next time.

Bagden Hall made us very welcome, and Georgie our Great Dane became something of a celebrity. The food was excellent and the staff helpful and friendly. There are some great places to walk around the grounds, though the ducks and cats provided a behaviour challenge for Georgie. Would definitely recommend.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Many thanks to Matty, who looked after us in the bar and Bistro so well!
We stayed 3 days with our two dogs and thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was amply big enough for our big girls, very comfortable and with stunning views from our window. Easy access to a large grassy area for the girls and 40 acres to roam around too. Breakfasts were excellent, as were the 3 evening meals we had. Gluten-free options were excellent. Staff were super friendly. We shall certainly be back.

We spent a Sunday night at Bagden Hall and it was lovely and relaxing. The hotel was quiet but the mood was welcoming with a chilled vibe. On booking in we were upgraded to a suite which was a nice surprise and Max was treated to his first doggie bone. The staff were very friendly and clearly loved dogs. We were treated to a bottle of fizz in our room and Max to some treats and a foldable water bowl. The grounds and walks nearby are great for dogs and we let out pooch off his lead for the first time which he really enjoyed. The food and drink was of a high standard. I agree with other reviews about the dated decor but that adds to the character and the rooms were exceptionally clean. Would definitely return. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay extremely enjoyable.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Nice goody bag for each dog in the room on arrival
The welcome was so friendly & the whole team made us feel relaxed & welcome throughout the weekend. The dogs were treated with as much respect as we were & were catered for very well with drinking water available in the bar areas & doggie sausages arriving chopped into bowls for them each breakfast time. The bar area where we could eat meals keeping the dogs with us was warm (carpeted) & as nicely decorated as the rest of the hotel, we didn't feel like we were tucked out of the way or treated any differently to the guests in the dog free restaurant. The grounds are excellent for safe, secure dog walking with open grass areas, woods & water. My dogs loved it. The hotel recommended room 18 as it was a large size for us with 2 big dogs & it suited us very well. A slight criticism is that the bathroom was very tired with somewhat tatty decor, needs upgrading, but it was very clean & didn't spoil the break.
