“Great for walks around the grounds and nearby forest walks with good tracks. It was nice to be able to take the dog into the restaurant and the breakfast room, excellent breakfast.”

“A lovely hotel set in a stunning location. All kept clean and tidy. Our dogs were welcomed all around the hotel and grounds. The staff were friendly. So thank you Tom, Maddy, Lindsey, Emily and Helen for making our stay one to remember”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Staff were all lovely and seemed genuinely friendly. Stayed in a standard room which was spacious enough for crate. Would have appreciated water, especially as so hot, and possibly a small fridge for dog food.

“Had a wonderful 2 nights here with 1 year old cocker spaniel. Comfortable, clean and lots of beautiful grounds to walk in and meet other dogs. Whole area easy to navigate with dogs, even the shops! Would highly recommend.”

“Lovely hotel with very welcoming staff. Gorgeous room complete with dog bowls & treats, very clean & comfy. Dogs are welcome in all areas of the hotel including the dining rooms although you can leave them in the room while you dine if preferred.”

“It was with some trepidation that we arrived at the Fox and Hounds with our 11-month-old lab, Rudi. But we needn't have worried! The staff are all pet lovers and your four-legged friend is welcome everywhere. The dinner menu is excellent and the bar is well-stocked. We chose a superior room to give us a bit more room. The grounds are huge - Rudi took his first swim in the river that forms the boundary to the grounds. You will be in good company with your fellow dog-lovers.”
