Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Off the record - More staff in the dining area at breakfast! They were rushed off their feet and small things like a request for marmalade or more milk got forgotten in the process.
Pets Pyjamas found this hotel for our short break with the dogs, Luna and Maggi. They were so welcoming to us all and the facilities were excellent. From a sausage for the dogs every morning at breakfast, to their own beds in our room. Walking maps were available for the area and a dog wash area with warm water was used by Maggi every day!! We will come again. Sue

Scout gives the hotel five paws. She was offered a sausage every morning. She loved them. The hotel was in a good spot to go exploring the Cotswolds many hikes and cute towns. The arboretum just up the road was one of her favorites. The room was very comfortable and spacious for the two of us and the dog. We stayed in Elm which is at the front near the laundry services and with the bar next to us. With windows open it was a bit noisy, but it wasn't bad enough to keep us awake. Breakfast is in a separate lounge where all of the dog owners sit, rather than in the main dining area. It's very pretty and worth sitting in sometime, just plan ahead and leave doggo in the room if you are able. Very happy with the food and service. We stayed for a week and it was a nice luxurious time.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Excellent in every way
Very impressed with the Hare and Hound. All the staff were friendly and capable. Particular mention for the bar staff and reception lady. The rooms were comfortable and the food good. Our dog was made to feel particularly welcome with bed and bowl provided and a sausage for breakfast. We have recommended this hotel to doggy and non doggy friends. We will certainly be going back.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? 37 is a large budget if eating in the pub.
The grounds and hotel were lively. I enjoyed wandering around to stretch the dogs legs. All the staff were very welcoming to both of us. The food was excellent. Only one minor complaint in that the room was on the 1st floor which is not great getting luggage and dog up and down. Luckily he didn't need to go out in the night.

The hotel was excellent. Had a bit of a scare at check in as they said Pets Pyjamas hadn't notified them we were bringing two dogs (which seems highly unlikely) but fortunately they had a dog friendly room available. This could have been a huge problem otherwise. The hotel though is gorgeous. Staff are very efficient and friendly. We had dinner from Jack Hare's and breakfast the next morning, both served in our room, and the food was top notch, with amazing vegan options for breakfast. The dogs were welcome everywhere in the hotel and were made a fuss of when we had drinks in the bar. Would love to come here again, but I think I would check the booking with the hotel before traveling.

This is a wonderful, peaceful, dog-friendly place to spend a few days. The rooms are lovely, beds are excellent. The food has improved significantly since 18 months ago and is getting pack to its former glory days. The Bar menu choice could be a little broader. This matters as you can't eat in the restaurant with your dog present. Breakfasts are a delight.
