“Hello all,loved the book,amazing.But i have one question,why was the Bergepanther at the schwere SS Pz Abt workshops at Pariser St,not included. i see photo s of the Panther and Wirbelwind , the Bergepanther was parked nearby.”

Hi Phillip. Thanks for your review. We did not include the Bergepanther because we could not obtain a good enough copy of the photo. We are preparing a follow-up book, which may include this if we can get a decent copy.

“Very high standard indeed. Sets a bar which I suspect many other book producers will struggle to match. I am collecting books on the latter years of WW2 for 35+ years and I can honestly say I have never come across a book with such detail, both in terms of text and photos . Surely is the bible on this subject.”

“Excellent book, slightly nurdy perhaps, but such is the nature of a publication like this. Good to see the inclusion of photo's of the carnage and destruction. Reminds us of the human cost of storming a major city.”
