Everyone involved in Nibble & Gnaw is a pet owner. And we all want the same thing: our pets to be happy and healthy. That’s our mission. It's the reason we founded the business.

We all know that diet is the most important thing for keeping small animals happy and healthy, and that forage should make up about 90% of their diet.

One day, whilst complaining about the poor quality of hay being sold, one of our friends said: "You know the hay I take into the Middle East for their thorough-breds? What about bringing that in to the UK for rabbits and guinea pigs?"

And that's how Nibble & Gnaw got started!

“I have ordered First cut Timothy hay for my bunnies fior a while now. The bunnies love it and I am also very pleased with the condition of the gay when it comes. The hay I used to use before was always so short and had so much dust in the bag but the Timothy hay that comes is so long and green and when I take it out of the packaging there is hardly any small pieces ir dust. The main thing is the bunnies enjoy it so much and as hay us vital for their duet I am so glad I switched over.”

“the hay brought my hands out in welts, gave me asthmatic conditions. I've nevr had this issue with any of the hay from Nibble and Gnaw previously until this batch. I can only assum its mould spores as its being kept in a warehouse given that the hay is out of season. really bad as i have two batches of it. wont buy from you guys again.”

“So relieved I found Nibble & Gnaw. I wouldn't trust to buy my hay from anywhere else now! My two chinchillas absolutely love this hay and eat it so much quicker than any other hay I've bought for them. I have tried every other box of hay that you can order online and finally tried Nibble and Gnaw and I won't be buying from amywhere else again. I love the size options and the subscription service. I recently moved house and changing the address on the hay subscription was so easy. I've also been able to get the hay to come sooner when I've needed it and delay the next subscribed box if needed. Can't thank Nibble and Gnaw enough for providing such a good quality hay I can trust completely. Lovely, beautiful smelling, long, stalky, green hay. So pleased.”

“Very fresh hay and the bunnies seem to enjoy it. I did find it rather difficult to get out the bag as it is so tightly packed and being quite sharp it did cut my fingers”

“Our four rabbits and one guinea pig love this hay. It smells so good and they all look forward to it. I am delighted to find something else to benefit themm. We have a small animal sanctuary, and our goats also try to get some, but they have hay sticks as treats so at the moment, they can't have it as they can graze too.”
