“A well made item which fits a 115cm width VW RIB bed in our VW campervan perfectly. Unfortunately, we (my husband and I - I’m small & slimmish, he’s tall and stocky) find it not quite enough for a truly comfortable night sleep (I bought another basic topper, a bit like a thick duvet to add to the Panda and that was better, but my husband still finds he wakes up with pins & needles in his arm during the night and my back isn’t great in the morning) it’s turned out to work better for our 12 year old in the pop top. Storage is ok - we keep it rolled up tight with 2 Velcro straps on the back shelf, and can actually fold it into 4 and vacuum pack it (with a hoover, not a small pump, the inflate/deflate pump isn’t hefty enough for the job). It does take up a fair bit of space though with 3+ people in the van, which wouldn’t be an issue if it were just the 2 of us.
If I’d bought the topper for a bed in the house, I’d be 100% delighted with it, as it’s super comfy on a regular mattress. The RIB is just too firm and needs a deeper mattress for us, hence the Panda is going in the pop top (although it’s too deep to store in there with the lid closed), and we’re now trying out a 12’’ self inflating mattress downstairs. I wouldn’t discourage vanners from buying a Panda, as everyone is different and we have friends who are very happy with theirs in their VW; it’s very well made, quickly delivered and does seem to suit a fair amount of folk, reading various discussion groups online.”
“Absolutely perfect for the van either up or downstairs bed. I use it instead of the VW mattress (ie straight onto the seat base). Upstairs we use on top of the existing mattress. So comfortable and doesn’t seem to get hot either. Top marks!”

“Purchased for a sofabed, this makes it so much more comfortable, I used it for a while after a knee replacement, but generally just used for guests staying.
The only down side in this situation is that you have to store it when not in use, and of course you can never get it to pack away as neatly as when it first arrived.”
