I bought this topper as an extra layer for my sofa bed matress. When I first took it out of the box, I didn't think it was bouncy enough. I thought I would put it back in the box and return it but then it wouldn't fit in the box. I then realised that it needs to breathe and then it becomes more bouncy and softer. I've been using it for a week now and it's great. Although it's not exactly the same size as my sofa bed matress which is from Europe (slightly smaller) I am happy to continue using it because of the comfort it offers.
