“Not too heavy but comfortable weight. Nice feeling of cover material. Warm but not to hot. Our old duvet made me sweat as I like to wrap myself in my duvet , but the cloud duvet keeps me warm but not overly hot. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend.”
“I was trying to find a replacement duvet for my king-sized bed. I had always had down and feather until more recently when I tried wool. My husband has allergy issues. We found the wool wasn't warm enough and although I'd bought a "3 in 1" we didn't like the bulk of the two together.
After doing some research I decided to try a bamboo duvet, and having recently bought a Panda bamboo topper for our motorhome, which we are very pleased with, I decided to try their bamboo duvet. I was worried about it being only 10.5 tog, having not found the wool one warm enough or cosy enough.
The Panda duvet is a lovely quality and feels good. It has a nice weight and "cosiness" but it is very warm. I have noticed that many manufacturers, of all sorts of fillings, claim that their duvets "adjust to body temperature / lets your body breath at night / is excellent for hot flushes" etc. I have learnt to distrust these claims as none I've tried seem to have this quality at all.
I have absolutely nothing against the Panda brand. The quality seems excellent. Items have been delivered when expected and the packaging has been very good indeed. I'm thinking of buying a Panda topper for our ageing Tempur mattress to give it another lease of life.
I have concluded that it is very difficult to find a duvet that is "just right" for the individual - we all like and need different qualities.”
