Very well made, high quality product. It fitted well without any issues, holes and hangers lined up perfectly and took just 15mins ( nuts were not rusty). Looks very nice too with a larger than standard tailpipe. Noise? this is no chav booming type exhaust, its all very gentle and restrained BUT a definate improvement over the standard item that suits the mx5 character very well. Very much worth the asking price, this exhaust is something that won't wake the neighbours or give you a headache but it will make you turn off the radio to enjoy the new soundtrack your MX5 will be singing! I'd been thinking about splashing out on one of these for ages and am very pleased i did. 2005 1.6 arctic

Great service, orderd on Sunday evening, arrived Tuesday afternoon, fitted by Tuesday eveningI made an error of judgement when I ordered the exhaust, as to me I thought the picture made the tail section look like it was an oval shape.I was surprised when the exhaust arrived and the tail piece was round, my mistake as there is no indication in the description that it is anything other than round. The diameter is quite large at 90mm but it looks OK on the car, not quite boy racer but getting closeThe exhaust itself is great quality and looks superb, even the silencer box is polished and it looks great when fittedI had no problems fitting it, the holes in the flange maried up with the studs left in the factory exhaust perfectly, the gasket makes for a perfect seal. The exhaust note is slightly deeper and sounds good, it balances uo the note of the K&N induction kit.Overall the exhaust is a good piece of kit but I would have prefered an oval tail piece

I can't recommend highly enough. Bought for my 1.8 Sport 1998. The silencer box is smaller than the original and all stainless steel looks great. Tip looks great. Not boy racer at all which was my main concern. And totally changes to look of the car from behind but in a relatively understated way. No need for dual tips me thinks. Sound is not loud and around town its just a nicer timbre of sound. Seems to flow easier but I have not changed the mid-pipe section so can't be too much. Fitting I had bought smaller bolts (read about issues in earlier reviews) but didn't need - it aligned perfectly using existing bolts. I bought in January 2012 so maybe they have fixed that issue. Unscrew the two nuts, push the three rubber hangers out (easiest using a crowbar) and replace. 10mins all going well. Admire. Definitely buy the gasket, you need it for a proper seal, and the exhaust shops seem to buy their exhausts and gaskets together as sets so you would need wait for them to order in... And MX5parts are cheaper anyway. I did the two bolts myself and got a fitting shop to do the rest - 5 mins for them on the ramp. I'd do same if I ever do another exhaust replacement. One thing I didn't expect is the change in sound in the cabin. Before I used to hear the mainly the engine and then the exhaust - these were separate. Now the sound in the cabin is together. Hard to describe, but its much better. (I have the K&N Ram intake & filter). What else, emmm...all the mechanics comment favourably. I guess they are so used to boy racer stuff... also commented that it must be expensive...so price seems OK.

Had mine a good six months now, along with stainless mid-section. Adds a nice sporty note that isn't really there with stock, but isn't too much. Sounds fantastic driving through a tunnel! I can't say it really does much on performance, maybe helps a tiny little bit a top end revs. I bought mine because the join between back box and mid was looking suspect. Good looks and stainless, 5yr warranty at the price is a total no-brainer.

High quality piece of kit. Delivered next day as usual from mx5 parts with the gasket. As the bolts were corroded fast-on, I took it to an garage to have fitted. They commented straight away on the quality of the silencer. "This is certainly no chav exhaust," was their view.

Ordered and installed this a while ago, got here (france) fast. It was pretty easy to install (had to file one of the bolt holes, but that only took about 5 mins), easy enough for anyone to do in under an hour. A little noisy for my liking but the sound is nice (especially after 3000 rpm). Very nice finish (looks like it could be stock and give a nice sporty look) even after a couple of years.

un très beau pot. Il fait un beau bruit et pas très bruyant. Le seul problème c'est que j'ai passé ma commande 1 semaine avant une promotion et on a pas voulu me faire un geste commercial donc un peu dégouté :(
