Another major bargain from mx5parts! Superb quality, 100% polished Stainless Steel, single exit exhaust for the Mk2 and 2.5. Made exclusively by us, for us, this great exhaust has 57mm main pipework and a 90mm dual sleeve exit pipe. Fits Mk2/2.5 1998>2005 Looks like it should be £300.00 worth. Five year warranty!

“Usual excellent service from MX5 Parts. Ordered one day, received the very next. The quality of the box is superb.Had this fitted with the stainless steel mid section also from MX5 Parts, at my local garage. It took one guy an hour from start to finish (I watched him the whole time and he wasn't slacking!) due to having to remove the protection bracketry from underneath, which after 6 years or so, the bolts were a on a bit tight! Everything was a perfect fit and absolutely no problems encountered with the Lambda sensor in the mid section. For DIYer's, try this job on your own if you want, just make sure you've got the tools for the job! Anyway he only charged me 30 quid, which for his labour, I thought was fair. When he cranked it up, I just couldn't stop smiling. It sounds fantastic, I can only describe it sounding a weeny bit like a V8 engine at idle. There is only a very slight increase in noise, but that is only when you shove your foot to the floor! Brilliant, absolutely recommended. The only thing I would say is, if you can, replace the mid and back box at the same time, that way you won't be having to mess about again later.”

“Well pleased, good quality system. No problems with the fitting, did not even have to jack car up.Only took around 45 mins to fit. Bit of advice, fit the three rubbers to the box first after spraying WD40 in the holes, then fit to car.Looks really good on and not loud, unlike some other systems!”

“This is a smashing bit of kit, looks and sounds good, but why do the standard 13 mm bolts not fit. I had to abandon the job and go find 10 mm bolts.”

“98 Mk2 1.8s (57k with original exhaust still fitted) - New exhaust quality is first class. Ordered Thursday & received Friday. Only problem I had was one of the two nuts you need to remove was ceased. Once nut was removed , fitting new exhaust was easy 15 - 20 mins. (some wd40 on the rubber exhaust hangers helps). Would recommend you purchase a rear exhaust gasket as mine had perished. I did not have a problem fitting the new exhaust to the original bolts as mentioned in many of the previous reviews - perfect fit. The new exhaust really does look classy & just right for the car. Very slight increase in noise inside & outside but not obtrusive. Overall - excellent. Thanks”

“Nice exhaust. I suggest to have it fitted by a professional, because there is the risk to break the original bolts due to rust on an aged car. The exhaust looks great and the sound is good too. 4 of 5 stars because the end does not mach perfectly with the housing in the bumper. btw the result is good. recommended.”
