Made exclusively by us, for us, this great exhaust has 57mm main pipework and a 90mm dual sleeve exit pipe. Fits Mk2/2.5 1998>2005 Looks like it should be £300.00 worth. Five year warranty!

“Normal fast service from MX5 parts. I had the exhaust fitted at my local ETB, the guy remarked on how good it looked. No problems with fitting whatsoever. The sound is not a great deal louder than the std exhaust, but it is a deeper tone, & does sound good when you put your foot down. Overall, its a great buy, looks great & makes the car sound better.”

“Excellent product, no problems with flange hole size as previous reviews. Old box was removed and new one fitted in fifteen minutes exactly, with the use of ramps only. You just need to spray the flange nuts/studs with release oil for a couple of nights before doing the job. Well worth the money in my opinion.Editors Note: Please note that all later exhausts have been manufactured with a redesigned flange to eliminate any issues that may have occured in the past.”

“Very pleased with this product. Excellent value for money especially if you buy it through their Ebay shop. Fast delivery and high quality - well made and finished and fits perfectly. Bit louder than standard but not obtrusively so, just sportier. Perhaps fitment has been improved as I had none of the problems others have reported. I would recommend fitting yourself as it's such a doddle - two nuts, a gasket and three rubber hangers, that's it.”

“Purchased one of these (S1222) SS Rear Boxes for my 2002 1.6. Arrived very quickly, no damage because it was well packed and protected. Had my local independent tyre and exhaust centre (D&J - Herne Bay) fit it. Took no more than 15 mins to do on the ramps and only charged a few quid, well worth every penny getting a local exhaust centre to fit it. Compliments to MX5 Parts for an excellent product, fitting was so easy hence 15 mins to fit,no problems at all. Sound and performance improved slightly too. Personally I am well please with my purchase.'TA' from Kent.”

“Just fitted the back box in conjunction with a K&N Typhoon induction kit. Happy enough with the build quality and the sound from the exhaust (though drowned out by the addictive howl of the induction kit above 4500revs). But why oh why can't there be a slight modification to make sure the DIY fitting is as simple as it should be and not have to rasp/ream out the holes to fit the existing bolts. From previous reviews, it seems a continually stupid problem, easily fixed (I would have thought) on what is otherwise an excellent product.”
