Double crimped woven stainless steel mesh gives the grille extra strength - A perfectly snug fit every time - It will not damage the paint-work during fitting, nor will it rattle & chafe the paint-work as the car is being driven, because it has an all round 'paint-work friendly' vulcanized rubber edging - The Grille is held firmly in place by means of concealed stainless steel brackets and can be fitted comfortably within 30 minutes - The Stainless Steel rim and the mesh are electro-polished to give a permanent lustre.

“Bought this grille as i wanted it to look as good as possible. It is quite pricey but i think it is worth paying the extra. It took me an hour or so to fit. The instructions are clear enough. I managed it with only one scraped knuckle. Just make sure you have the right tools to hand and if possible put your mx up on ramps, It looks really good and gives my rad some protection. Well done for great service as always.”

“Fast transport, I just received your grille in France and it is already fitted.Your instructions are very clear, even to translate in French, and the photographs very useful.My only problem was to pull off the three bottom plugs, my car is 13 year old and the plastic of the plugs became hard and softless. Impossible to unpress the little pimples, so I had to cut heads. Now my old car looks better than a new one ! I am very proud of the result.Thank you for such a good look.”

“This is a top product - looks great and also good protection for the radiator. The fitting process (I did it on my own) was pretty straightforward. The only difficulty? Fitting the brackets was a bit fiddly, but I got there in the end.”

“OK i finished fitting this today took me 2 hours ! but am happy with final results ,maybe its me but it was very fiddly plastic plugs were a pain to remove,done the 3 bottom brackets not too bad and i thought to myself the top ones must be easier than the bottom how wrong i was ! im not a patient guy and this tested me ended up putting bolts down ward instead of up but very fiddly,the washing up liquid tip is invaluable !!! car now looks the dogs worth all the swearing !”

“Ordered my grille late Monday night and received it first thing Thursday, good service. Start to finish took me about 45 minutes to fit, as previous reviews hardest part was getting the spanner on the bottom bracket nuts. Very pleased with the enhanced appearance, finishes off the front nicely.”

“looked good in the catalogue, when I received it it looked even better, good quality, and fairly easy to fit, whole process only took 1/2 an hour, the fit is good, sturdy and looks fantastic, if or when I renew my mx then this is a must for the next one!!!”

“Next day delivery, as has been all my orders so far from MX5parts.This is a high quality grill, beautifully finished. It took me about an hour and a half to fit on my own following the fairly comprehensive instructions that come with it. Removal of the existing plastic plugs is a little tricky. The instructions suggest "pinching" the spring pinples with your finger and thumb; impossible! use a pair of long nosed pliers to clamp in the pimples, far easier. I also have a pair of ramps which give yopu much needed room under the car when fitting.Unless you have assistance, fitting the lower bolts and brackets the correct way up would be very difficult. I used Gaffer tape to hold the bolts and bracket assemblies in place from above, so that I could then use both hands to attach the lock nut and washer from below.Having already suffered a stone through my rad, I decided I needed a grill after I replaced the rad. As I said, this is a high quality product and looks great on the car. It gives it a very retro E-Type look. Highly recommended, just be prepared to spend a little bit of time fitting it.”
