So you may think that something is obvious... Until you read it in a tip, and all of a sudden you discover that it is not obvious at all. Or maybe you did not commit fully to it. 50 essential tips is a source of advice that will help you think about how your ride and why you ride. It's a starting point, not a complete guide to MTB, but it's a good one in my opinion, worth investing the money I spent in it.

Mat's book of 50 essential tips covered pretty much all of the questions i had been asking myself about fitness, training time, tiredness, eating and resting, it seemed well-researched and full of helpful information, i would recommend this book.

A little underwhelming. Some useful reminders with snippets of new info. It felt it was a little like reading ad for other products. Sorry to be negative, but I can see you put a lot of effort into what you do.

I read the book some time ago, so don't remember specific details. But it had helpful information and I would recommend it.

Hydrate- helmet- gloves ride at least twice a week. Don't keep up on the downhills with your 20 something riding buddies.

I’m only a few chapters in, but so far so go. I like Matt’s writing style so it’s an easy read. A lot of the things he talks about I already sort of knew, but it’s good to review them. Looking forward to finishing the book and incorporating what I’ve learned
