This fitness plan is ace. I like how it's structured, and how it's kept fresh as well. I really like the YouTube links for how to do all the exercises too. I found that Matt was super quick to reply to queries. This plan has been hard, I'm not going to lie, but that's what you want, right? It's made a huge impact to my riding as I worked my ass off over the winter and now it's getting warmer, I'm loving it. I like that the plan explains the different stages of training, too. If I had one suggestion for Matt it would be maybe a wee explanation of how a particular exercise or set will affect you - for example "a strong back helps with xyz when you're riding" and "DB rows help with this muscle group, which helps xyz". A small thing, really, and mainly just for interest! Would (and have) recommend to pals.

Useful and practical material. Link to how to execute the weight training exercises very helpful. This is the second product I have purchased (first was the nutrition guide). Both have helped me tremendously!

I have been searching for a dedicated MTB fitness program for awhile now and could not find one so I started with another program which has made me stronger and leaner but then I came across this program and I must say it is amazing, I have only just purchased it and started this week but I know it has everything I need to take my riding to the next level bring on the next 12 weeks I can not wait to see how I go by the end definitely recommend it for anyone trying to improve their fitness and riding with a dedicated MTB program.

I’ve only just started so it’s early days as far as results go but it looks like it will help with my weaknesses in core strength and flexibility. It’s all down to me from here !

I feel that the programme content could have been improved with examples of the stretching exercises presented. I needed to Google some of them to get examples of how to perform the stretch. To be honest I only skimmed the programme when I purchased it as I was waiting until I completed the T42 event (48km of mountain bike riding here in NZ through some amazing country - I managed to complete it in 3hr 13mins - 40 mins better than last year) before considering embarking on the training programme in full gusto!. I'm an over weight middle aged man who could definitely benefit from the programme and decided to give it a go after seeing the review provided by Waero Tomlin (fellow NZ'er). I will be reviewing in more detail this week and may provide further feedback by email. I strarted a new job today also which is a bit of a distraction at present as I am sure you can appreciate :) Regards, Jason

I’ve just hit 40 and signed up for a coast to coast ride. I have read books watched endless YouTube to try a figure the best way to train. At first I thought £30 on top of what I pay for the gym anyway was a bit much for what I thought was just an E Book (I am tight these days), but after going to the gym with no real idea what to do, I downloaded the 12 week plan. Very impressed! This is a proper plan, with great structure. Loads of information and easy to follow videos of each exercise. £30 is great value as this is more like having a personal trainer then just a book.
