“I love the concept of a mooncup and it works to some extent, however I have a posterior cervix and have found it impossible to get a seal despite multiple attempts. Mooncups have worked great for my friends but I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone who also has a posterior cervix.”

Hello Laura – thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We’re sorry to hear that you experienced leakage while using your Mooncup menstrual cup; we can understand this being disappointing! Because the Mooncup® is designed to be worn with a clear gap between it and your cervix, having a posterior sitting cervix shouldn’t generally impact on Mooncup use. There are however a few other reasons you may have struggled to achieve a good seal with the Mooncup in place and there are often lots of tips we can suggest to try and resolve this, so we would recommend getting directly in touch with our advisors at advice@mooncup.co.uk and they can help

“These are a brilliant idea. Easy to insert. I made a mistake trimming the stem on mine by about half. I had enormous difficulty removing it after that. Don't make the mistake I did!”
