“The moon cup has been a life changer. Bit tricky at first but a breeze once you get the hang of it. Cheaper and much greener than tampons and no horrible chemicals inside you. Can’t recommend enough.”

“At the beginning of my period I find my flow is too heavy for the mooncup, I cannot use it without wearing a sanitary liner as I leak. If you are out all day or use toilets that do not have a sink inside to clean the cup, it is not so practical. You could have a spare but cleaning the cup in a shared sink does not feel so sanitary.”

We’re sorry to hear you experienced leakage when using your Mooncup menstrual cup on your heavier flow days, and also found emptying it when out and about tricky. “So happy I made the switch from tampons! The mooncup is really easy to use, doesn't dry you out, is way better for the environment and you don't need to empty it as often as you'd change your tampon. Also, all the info on the website was really helpful!”
