If you had to claim how happy were you with the way it was handled?

“I bought a policy through SimplyExcess Car Hire for a trip to Malta and unfortunately needed it. The nearside front wing of the hire car was damaged while I was parked overnight. The car hire company charged me €900, which quickly and efficiently dealt with by SimplyExcess Car Hire. I would highly recommend.”

If you had to claim how happy were you with the way it was handled?

“I was unexpectedly required to claim damage compensation for an accident with a rental vehicle. I found the damage bill very high, but the insurer has paid my bill, and I'm incredibly grateful for the effortless and smooth support.”

“Good price for the cover offered. Helpful messages were sent prior to collecting and returning the hire car. Thankfully I didn't have to make a claim.”

If you had to claim how happy were you with the way it was handled?

“They are quite good. For a scratch during rental I had to pay a lump sum. I claimed through simply excess and within a week I got the amount.”

“This is a FAR better way to get excess cover on hire vehicles which is extortinate from the hire company's. I've been hiring cars for the best part of 30 years and have rarely taken out the excess cover because of the additional cost. This is a bit of a gamble of course and I've only had to pay out once. However, now, for relatively little cost I have complete piece of mind that all future hires are covered. 4 stars at the moment as I've not had to make a claim so I've no experience on how well that would be handled.”
