McNeela Bodhrán Holding Strap A bodhrán strap which allows you more freedom of movement when playing the bodhrán. The weight is taken on the shoulder instead of the hand. The same as a guitar strap, it is connected to the bodhrán using fittings that replace two of the retaining screws that hold the cross-bar in place. Fittings supplied along with wood filler for making the holes smaller so the strap fits securely. “Glad I got it. Really happy I bought the bohdran strap. I wouldn't be able to play standing without it. One thing, the screws supplied were of smaller diameter than those replaced. I had to find some that would fit where they needed to go.”

“Strap is fine. Took a bit to find correct position. Used existing Tuning screws instead of ones provided- don’t need to poke the drum more.works fne”

“This was literally just a guitar strap and some guitar strap buttons. The screws don't quite fit the holes in the drum. Not a bad value but not a custom bodhran strap, by any means. A bit disappointing. Fast shipping, though, and I do love this company.”
