McNeela Bodhrán Holding Strap A bodhrán strap which allows you more freedom of movement when playing the bodhrán. The weight is taken on the shoulder instead of the hand. The same as a guitar strap, it is connected to the bodhrán using fittings that replace two of the retaining screws that hold the cross-bar in place. Fittings supplied along with wood filler for making the holes smaller so the strap fits securely. “The strap was too short so I've given it to my granddaughter for her guitar. I used the pegs supplied but bought a longer, better looking and better quality strap from Amazon.”

“First, I ordered two black one. These straps were easy to fix to my Bodhrans and fitted well around my left shoulder. If you really want to move around as you drum you need to fix another cloth strap to the strap and place it across your upper back and around your other shoulder and it's armpit. A good price for the strap.”
