Clarke Black Whistle in the key of D
One-piece key of D tapered-bore whistle. The tapered bore gives these instruments a very responsive and solid tone, very noticeable particularly on bottom notes.
You might also like the stunning deep green Clarke Celtic Whistle also in the key of D.

Need a protective pouch for your whistles? We recommend this McNeela Tin Whistle Pouch.

Great whistle I was happy with the delivery and time it took plus very pleased with the whistle I’m a complete beginner with no music back ground so I’m looking forward to learning and the price was very reasonable

I’ve played Clarke D’s for nearly 30 yrs. I also play keyless flutes and tunable whistles. I like the Clarke for practice because it’s quiet and breathy. My old Clarkes eventually became rusty. The Clarke I received from you is too breathy and requires too much effort to blow. Thank you for your consideration.

I just bought this to learn to play, but it sounds very very nice, it arrived quick (even before it was due), not too much packaging or anything. Very happy with the service

If you want a "tin" whistle for sentimental reasons or to complete your collections this is nice to have and looks the part, but to play get the lovely Wild whistle from McNeela with their usual good service.

Very pleased with my purchase. It took a short while to adapt to the wooden mouth piece, from a plastic one, and also having to give a bit more puff: I realised I had to place the mouthpiece further in my mouth than a recorder. Middle C sounds a fraction weaker than the other notes but I’m very pleased with the ease I can move my fingers. Easy to purchase and spot on communications regarding delivery. Definitely good value for the money.
