“I lost the flute-head to my plastic Dixon flute/low whistle combo and I bought this to replace it so I can once again have a flute at my vacation home. While it absolutely works as a flute and plays just as easily as what I was trying to replace, this is a chiff city student-grade instrument. Caveat flautor…”

“Try-out Flute or Camp Flute! If you are considering giving the flute a try, I’d say give this a go. Making the low and high octaves aren’t as hard as I thought, but really I just started and for couple weeks I’ve just been working on making my tone sound good and playing a note as long and clean as possible. Minus one star because I think The company should include either on paper or electronically a finger and note diagram. I understand they sell how to books, but I could only afford the flute. If you do play a nicer flute I imagine this would be a good flute to bring camping since exposure to the elements and sticky raggamuffin niece and nephews might ruin your hand carved African blackwood silver keyed masterpiece. All in all I hope to have started a life long journey and if skill warrants I will purchase something nicer from here. Thanks McNeela”
