“Arrived on time. Bought to replace a flourescent lamp, where the ballast had given up. Modified the lamp fitting and the new LED was fitted in 15 mins. Nice and bright and cheaper to run. Hope it lasts the expected 35000 hours!”

“Appeared a little flimsy when first installed, because of the overall length and plastic construction but fine when aluminium diffusers put back. Simply had to remove the old starters, ballast etc and wire one end straight to mains input. Good instant light output.”

“The tubes were purchased to replace fluorescent tubes. They were very easy to install - it was just a question of removing completely all the existing starting devices (ballast and starter) and connecting each tube directly to the cable coming from the mains switch. Only one end (marked with an "N" and an "L") is connected to the mains voltage, the pins at the other end are simply for support. It was advisable to remove the wires from the support end fitting. It wasn't required to match N and L to Live and Neutral, it worked either way round. The tube lights instantly and gives noticeably more light than the fluorescent tube is replaces.”
