“Simple lightweight replacement for old fluorescent fittings. They are a little flimsy and fiddly with a snap on cover (so 4 stars vs 5). You will need a second pair of hands. They were easy enough to fit though. It's also easy to modify the cable entry point by drilling a new 20mm hole and fitting an appropriate grommet. This makes the replacement of existing fittings easy. I bought the 5ft version for my old house garage. Moving I bought the 6ft for the bigger new house garage.”

“This purchase was to replace a 33 year old fluorescent fitting in my garage which had failed. The batten itself was easy to screw in place, but based on past experience I wasn't looking forward to fitting the 6 foot long tubes, because one's arms are just not long enough when working alone. However, the sockets at either end with their twist locks were very simple to use.”
