“Until I had them installed and operating, I didn't understand how much of a difference downlighting made to the kitchen. Placing the downlighters so that they illuminate the areas where you work rather than being in shadow ( previously had single central ceiling rose ) has made a dramatic improvement to the feel of the kitchen. As for these particular downlighters, they were simple to install with the loop-in / loop-out functionality. I do enjoy having the kitchen dimmed quite a lot in the evening as it creates a nice ambiance, then when I am ready to perform some task, I just whip up the light level and all the surfaces are suddenly bright. I did have an issue when installing them, whereby I needed to remove one of the wires but was unable to get it out so I called customer support and a chap called Greg told me how to do it after I had sent him a photo during the call. The levers in the plug are the release mechanism, not a locking mechanism as I thought. He solved my problem in 5 mins. As you might be able to tell, I am chuffed with them. The only bit I was curious about was the fact that changing the wattage from 5W - 8W using the switch on the lamp seemed to make no difference. C'est la vie.”

“Nice compact units, the loop-in/loop out feature makes wiring them in much simpler. The variable wattage and kelvin allow a great choice of illumination level.”

“These are truly excellent lights. The quality of the units appears to be very good, the fitting was straightforward with the easy push connectors, and the easy adjustment of the wattage and colour temperature really adds to their versatility. Fitted six of these in a bathroom and am extremely pleased with the results, will definitely buy more next time I need IP65 rated lights. The six pack also represented excellent value at the current price”
