“These LED tubes are great for any work space like garages, sheds etc. Relatively easy for an electrician to modify an existing light fitting and come with a starter type fuse to replace the original fluorescent one if needed. I buy the T8 clips and put the bare tube up in my workshop and all these tubes need is a mains connection to the end marked +/- Delivery is good and they're well packaged in a strong cardboard tube. Good value and good service.”

“When these tubes arrived I noticed the pins at the power end of the tube were marked L and N. These tubes are to go into existing fluorescent battens which have been rewired to accept single ended T8 LEDs but the fittings have "slide-in and twist" fittings to accept the pins-making all too easy to reverse the polarity of the feed. I was puzzled as the T8 Energiser tubes I had previously purchased from LSOL did not have polarity markings. I rang to check it would not damage the tubes if I accidentally reversed polarity but the adviser didnt really know and suggested it probably wouldnt work. He did say if it didnt work then try swapping it round. I was hoping for more technical support than I got.”

“I installed with the fuse replacing the starter and ballast still wired in for speed and they seem fine. Taking the ballast out should save more watts but I may do that later”
