“I ordered 4 DSR and 2 DSR Side dining chairs which were delivered quickly within the week. Unfortunately some of the legs were damaged, but a quick call to Lakeland Furniture had replacement legs sent out to me and delivered within a few days. I do have to mention that the items are just placed in large boxes though and get thrown about inside, which could definitely lead to damage. Polystyrene or other protective inserts would be a good idea.The build quality of the chairs is ok, but the legs and acrylic seats don't always match up easily, forcing the metal chair legs to be bent or forcibly coaxed into place in order for the bolts to be inserted. Twice I found the metal legs were not correctly finished and had to be reshaped so that they became inline with nut fixed in the acrylic chair seat. But after a couple of hours carful fettling (the acrylic will scratch very easily if scraped with metal or tools) all 6 chairs were built and stood straight.The resulting look of the chairs is excellent. They ooze style and modern sophistication. I ordered clear acrylic with metal legs that look fantastic sat around my glass and chrome table. They are all comfy to sit on, especially the DSR Side chairs, which are extremely comfortable. The acrylic does flex and the legs bend ever-so-slightly under an adults weight, so probably best to be careful not to fall into them or wriggle about too much - definitely don't lean back on them.Overall they are an ok built and stunning looking dining chair that I'm happy with.”
