About KNOOPS:

Jens Knoop has had a strong relationship with chocolate since his childhood in rural Germany. In 2013, he decided to share his passion and opened the first Knoops store in Rye, East Sussex. Today, our expertly crafted chocolate drinks and coffee can either be prepared by one of our Knoopologists in store, or created by our customers themselves at home.

We are experts in the craft of creating the perfect drinking chocolate - a process we call 'Knoopology'. The Knoops concept is based around our carefully curated percentage menu, which offers a wide range of chocolates to suit all tastes. Our real chocolate flakes can be used with one of our hand-picked hot chocolate makers to create the unique Knoops experience at home.

“Bought this for my son. He enjoys got tea in the evening but doesn't want caffeine. When ever I saw this product I thought it would suit him nicely. He reports that it's like having tea with a mild chocolate flavor. He's pretty impressed with it! Sounds pretty yummy to me although I haven't has the opportunity to experience it myself yet. He highly recommends it!”

“I saw this mentioned in a magazine. I loved that it was caffeine free and high in antioxidants. I bought it as part of a birthday gift for my friend who avoids caffeine. The smell on opening the bag was delicious and she loved it as a hot drink - the taste of chocolate but without the calories. She is looking forward to trying it as a cold drink too.”

“Knoop's cacao tea is a good alternative to other non-caffeinated tea. It has a rich taste and a substantial flavour making it a good substitute for black teas. I enjoy it very much.”
