About KNOOPS:

Jens Knoop has had a strong relationship with chocolate since his childhood in rural Germany. In 2013, he decided to share his passion and opened the first Knoops store in Rye, East Sussex. Today, our expertly crafted chocolate drinks and coffee can either be prepared by one of our Knoopologists in store, or created by our customers themselves at home.

We are experts in the craft of creating the perfect drinking chocolate - a process we call 'Knoopology'. The Knoops concept is based around our carefully curated percentage menu, which offers a wide range of chocolates to suit all tastes. Our real chocolate flakes can be used with one of our hand-picked hot chocolate makers to create the unique Knoops experience at home.

I ordered this out of curiousity, and I wasn't disappointed. Best enjoyed warm or cold rather than hot to fully appreciate the subtle flavours.

It is refreshing and very enjoyable in the current heat wave but the flavour is weak.

Hello Dorothy, I am sorry to hear this. Perhaps try experimenting with Knoopology at home - Cold cacao tea + orange + lemon or Hot cacao tea + vanilla? Knoops

I personally really enjoy this drink. Don't make the mistake of anticipating some kind of instant drinking chocolate. The chocolate element is mainly in the (gorgeous) aroma. I'd liken the beverage itself mostly to traditional Japanese tea. If you've never tried this before, do yourself a favour and give it a go. You may well decide it's not for you, but then again...
