About KNOOPS:

Jens Knoop has had a strong relationship with chocolate since his childhood in rural Germany. In 2013, he decided to share his passion and opened the first Knoops store in Rye, East Sussex. Today, our expertly crafted chocolate drinks and coffee can either be prepared by one of our Knoopologists in store, or created by our customers themselves at home.

We are experts in the craft of creating the perfect drinking chocolate - a process we call 'Knoopology'. The Knoops concept is based around our carefully curated percentage menu, which offers a wide range of chocolates to suit all tastes. Our real chocolate flakes can be used with one of our hand-picked hot chocolate makers to create the unique Knoops experience at home.

How was the delivery of your order? Poor

“I followed instructions and tea had only a very faint taste of chocolate. Very disappointed as felt like drinking mainly hot water. Have made it again with much more of the tea but still not a great drink.”

Hi Sharon, I'm sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your Cacao tea - compared to our hot chocolates it is a lighter drink with a more subtle taste.

“The tea is very tasty and has an interesting flavour. However this was not delivered to me as it should have been. It was missing from my order with no communication from Knoops telling me this. I had to e-mail to get it sent. I bought as gift for Christmas and it didnt arrive in time for this. I also found the discounts to be frustrating to use because if it lowers the price enough you then have to pay postage. I communicated this with Knoops staff who weren't very understanding or helpful.”

“This tea does not disappoint. It is absolutely delicious, and caffeine free too. Lovely flavour of caramel and chocolate. This will become my go-to caffeine-free tea.”
