About KNOOPS:

Jens Knoop has had a strong relationship with chocolate since his childhood in rural Germany. In 2013, he decided to share his passion and opened the first Knoops store in Rye, East Sussex. Today, our expertly crafted chocolate drinks and coffee can either be prepared by one of our Knoopologists in store, or created by our customers themselves at home.

We are experts in the craft of creating the perfect drinking chocolate - a process we call 'Knoopology'. The Knoops concept is based around our carefully curated percentage menu, which offers a wide range of chocolates to suit all tastes. Our real chocolate flakes can be used with one of our hand-picked hot chocolate makers to create the unique Knoops experience at home.

“I bought one pack as a gift for friends and one as a gift for my husband. I was allowed to try some of my husband's. It was so much nicer than conventional commercial hot chocolate and you can see what you are paying the extra money for. We haven't tried many of the flavours yet but so far so good. His only complaint is that the sachets in the sample box make quite a small drink if made in the recommended proportions (obviously with a full-size pot you can use more to make a bigger drink). However, it was big enough for me.”

“I ordered the selection box. I like darker rich chocolate drinks but my partner and mum like milk chocolate so there is something for all of us there! The drinks are delicious, and are easily the best ones I’ve tasted. I always fancy an unadulterated creamy rich hot chocolate when I go out but never get one as I’m always disappointed with the quality and taste, so have ordered a few online before now to have at home, but they are still lacking that authentic creamy chocolate taste. I am now hooked on this and would be in heaven if you offered a dark milk chocolate chilli one for winter!”
