About KNOOPS:

Jens Knoop has had a strong relationship with chocolate since his childhood in rural Germany. In 2013, he decided to share his passion and opened the first Knoops store in Rye, East Sussex. Today, our expertly crafted chocolate drinks and coffee can either be prepared by one of our Knoopologists in store, or created by our customers themselves at home.

We are experts in the craft of creating the perfect drinking chocolate - a process we call 'Knoopology'. The Knoops concept is based around our carefully curated percentage menu, which offers a wide range of chocolates to suit all tastes. Our real chocolate flakes can be used with one of our hand-picked hot chocolate makers to create the unique Knoops experience at home.

“Knoops have a vast array of types of hot chocolate that can be hard to choose which one is right for you. The selection box is idea for dipping your toe into the world of hot chocolate. From my experience the darker the chocolate the more bitter but more luxurious mouthfeel. A lower percentage chocolate is more palatable to mainstream chocolate drinkers at the cost of that silkiness. Just like great coffee at a great cafe, pick the one that feels like you and enjoy it time and time again”

“I brought the selection box as part of a Christmas present and for myself. I couldn't resist it. I also brought the spice mix. All were delivered quickly and securely packaged.”

“I think you should also do a white chocolate only box, milk chocolate only box, darker chcoclate only box. Etc Personally because I prefer that darker.”

“Greta range from white to 100% and everything in between, working my way through, the white chocolate is very nice, not too sweet. Best selection available from any supplier. Nice.”
