“Was replacing older unit. Had to keep that running while I watched the saved programs. Found that the remote controls of both units interfere with each other making using a right pain.
Took me a while to find out I could reprogram one of the remotes to a different code and now they can both be used without changing each others settings.
I imagine this is not an uncommon problem and has a simple solution. Why is it not mentioned in the set up instructions.”
“This is our 3rd humax so we record what we want to watch in which room - we never sit channel hopping and plan what we want and it avoids lots of wasted time - for us these humax recorders are ideal time shift machines - no going back on catch up to find something is no longer available- had a couple of tech queries over 10 years and these guy's are just so helpful - thanks Humax”
“Despite several efforts to get this unit to receive all our TV signals/channels in Cumbria (including many inputs from Humax) we could not get the machine to operate properly. I returned the item to Humax, and am awaiting my refund. Tim A.”

“Very good value for money, and came complete with everything required to be up and running in a matter of minutes, right down to the remote batteries. Even though this was a refurbished unit it was packaged as you would expect a new unit to be and although I am only a few weeks into using the recorder everything is working perfectly - only time will tell if it lasts as long as a new unit but so far - so good. I am very happy with my purchase.”
