“This is my 3rd Humax PVR which I purchased to be able to record a number of programs at the same time. This is easily achieved, but I do feel that this model has lost the ease of use that the previous models provided.
I also do not find that it looks as good as the previous models being just a small black square box under the TV.”
“Looks good and most importantly an excellent picture plus very easy to use. I certainly recommend this recorder. I have held off a star, as sadly when I went to install it on screen it showed up 'major software up date needed'. I could not get the box to do anything and where I wanted it situated I intended to use wifi. Thankfully I hit on taking the box to the room with my modem and connect it via ethernet . Left it for half hour and that worked. So I am not happy that the reconditioned boxes are not sold with the latest software update. Otherwise a great piece of kit.”
