“Unit is of the standard expected of Humax kit. Spoilt by being sent out with a defective HDMI cable. Use is quite straightforward once aquainted but disappointed that the 'loop through' doesn't work in standby, but it extends the scope of my Samsung TV and Foxsat-HDR.”
“It has very good picture and sound, and it has 3 tuners, but I miss: 1) The "i" inquiry button and 2) the ability to quickly jump forward by "pre set increments" through unwanted adverts! 3) The Remote react much slower than on my previous HDR-FOX T2 and often one has to press hard twice or three times to make it work! 4) While looking at "Guide" one can not press the non existent "i" button to find out what the program is about!
I am sorry to point out so many negative facts, but I have been spoiled by many previous Humax products.”
“The picture and sound quality on this unit is excellent. However, I have had an issue with failed recordings due to loss of power, even though there have been no problems whilst watching live TV. Following your advice, I have performed a factory reset and so far all is well. I will advise should the problem return.

“Ordered direct from humax uk.Very slight marks to casing which more than compensates for large saving in cost.Accessories were brand new and Delivery was fast and trackable.This is the second humax refurbished recorder I’ve purchased,the first one still working admirably.Very straight forward recorders to operate and the quality of recordings especially hd is first class.I’ve no hesitation in recommending both this product and humax in my experiences to date.”
“My previous recorder was a humax and was happy so I got a newer model the fvp-500t, I’ve set it up to record all further programs and I’m still watching programmes previously recorded on my old humax, So far so good, all seems fine”
