Main drawback is removal of "skip" feature when playing recordings which was available on previous Humax model we had. This enabled quick and easy skipping of advertisements on commercial television programmes”
“very pleased with my purchase, very easy to set up and operate. the only thing is that it would be good if you were able to operate the tv and soundbar from the remote(i.e. be able to switch all on and off)
as it is I have to switch onthe tv and sound bar with one remote and adjust the sound bar to max, the switch the pvr on with the humax remote it ia bit of a pain but, other than that all is well”
“This recorder is a step up on my older model with more programs to record at the same time. It’s smaller and lighter and delivers a great quality picture. The only disappointment is the remote which has less functions than the last one. Otherwise it’s a great buy”
“Basically very good, internet connection works well. Shame its missing the old "I" (Info) button as rather awkward to see info on a previously recorded program once you have started to watch it. When recording a series of programs when you go to playback machine defaults to the latest program in the series which seems rather daft defaulting to earliest program would seem more logical. When manually scheduling recordings rather than from the guide there used to be an option to record weekdays only which is now missing the only options are daily or weekly. Machine has locked up once by refusing to power on and needed the power removed to reset it so hope things improve.”
“First class pvr to replace my older human. Easy to use nice guide and easy recording ,but just missing the “advert”skip button that was on the last machine”
“I find that this box although has greater capacity than my previous Humax box and is far quicker to respond to handset commands it is not so user friendly. Many of the excellent and useful features of my previous box are sadly lacking on this model. All in all fair value for money but not terribly user friendly.”
